"Chant of Sighs"
This cane length stick was carved for a friend and features a highly stylized eagle top with two intricate Celtic knots and a Celtic Green Man done in autumn colors. It also includes an image of the stick’s name “Stands in Resolution” represented by a solitary pine tree bracketed by a Celtic knot. The stick’s name comes from a line in an old poem “Like a solitary pine in winter, she stands in resolution, none knowing her anticipation of spring”
